Pyncheons

Pyncheons are a true bantam breed developed in the Northeastern United States, and are very rare to find. Only a few places have them anymore and the Livestock Conservancy doesn't list them anymore as they feel the likely hood of bringing them back is low.
We are working toward adding new genetics to help reinvigorate our group. Pynchoens are mentioned by Nathaniel Hawthorne in his book, The House of the Seven Gables. Mille Fleur pattern is the only color accepted by the American Bantam Association.
